We hope the first half of 2023 has treated you and your loved ones well.

You've shown such generosity for people living with MS and we want to keep you updated on all things MS. We hope you enjoy reading the latest updates on advances into MS therapy and the lived experiences of our wonderful MS community.

Paul, a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, was diagnosed with MS in 2020 after experiencing symptoms for over a decade.

“Your support is so important to help all of us with our individual journey to have the guidance we need in our MS fight. It is such a difficult and daunting process, but now, we are one step closer to making life a little bit more comfortable. My wife, Suzanne, and I, can’t express enough gratitude to you."

Thanks to this community, Professor Kaylene Young and her team are close to realising a ground-breaking new MS therapy. A new therapy replacing myelin lost to MS is coming closer each day thanks to your generosity.

This ground-breaking research could pave the way for the next big breakthrough across the globe. Thanks for making it possible!

Not only has she generously supported the MS community for over 25 years, Maureen has also ensured her legacy continues by leaving MS Queensland, and many other causes she is passionate about, a gift in her will.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to every supporter who has chosen to leave a gift in their will. If you would like to learn more Maureen's legacy and about leaving a gift in your will, click here.

Thanks to your unwavering support, the NeuroAssist helpline has become a powerful network of support, extending a helping hand to those who need it most. Michelle & Alfia, pictured, are two important members of that team.

Each month, an average of 450 calls are received, connecting individuals with a friendly team of professionals who offer guidance, reassurance, and a listening ear.

The team also makes approximately 500 calls in response to queries and outreach projects, ensuring that individuals receive the necessary support and assistance, if they are unable to reach out themselves.

Your generosity ensures that no matter where in Queensland someone is, support is just a phone call away.
